2012 Olympic Legacy and Sustainability in Event Organising 25.4.2012

Olympic legacy & sustainability seminar at the British Embassy, Helsinki

On Wednesday, 24 April 2012, the British Embassy, in collaboration with the British Council Helsinki streamed their Olympic legacy & sustainability seminar live to the internet.  The opening words were delivered by The British Ambassador to Finland, Mr Matthew Lodge, and the Finnish Minister of Culture and Sport, Mr Paavo Arhinmäki.

The seminar examined the London 2012 Olympic project and viewed the structural development of the city of London, including accessibility for the disabled. The event additionally looked at some of the socio-economic legacy plans incorporated in the upcoming 2012 Ice Hockey World Championships, in Helsinki.  Finally, the seminar presented the developmental points of the Greening Events project, run by the city of Helsinki.

Seminaarin stremaus suorana lähetyksenä

SLU Mediapalvelu esitti "2012 Olympic legacy and sustainability in Event Organising"-seminaarin suorana nettilähetyksenä yhteistyössä Apogee Oy:n ja Janin Paja Oy:n kanssa 25. huhtikuuta. Seminaarin järjestivät yhteistyössä opetus- ja kulttuuriministereriö, Ison-Britiannian Suomen suurlähetystö ja British Councilin Suomen toimipiste.
